We are working with a leading global food manufacturer producing some of the UK's best-known snack brands from this highly automated, state-of-the-art facility in Lincoln. The site continues to invest heavily in its people, equipment and engineering capability, creating an environment where maintenance is proactive, continuous improvement is encouraged and engineers are given every opportunity to develop their careers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a large, well-established engineering team working on state-of-the-art production and packaging equipment, on a continental 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Rather than simply responding to breakdowns, you'll play a key role in improving equipment reliability, supporting engineering projects and helping drive operational excellence across the site.

Responsibilities of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across high-speed production and packaging machinery

Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime

Lead and support root cause analysis activities to eliminate recurring equipment failures

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that improve plant reliability and performance

Complete pre- and post-maintenance inspections and support lubrication and preventative maintenance strategies

Coach production teams on autonomous maintenance activities and equipment care

Maintain accurate maintenance records and promote high engineering standards across the department

Skills & Qualifications of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

Apprentice-trained engineer with an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification

Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled maintenance background

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or automated production environments

Knowledge of SCADA and CMMS systems advantageous

Basic salary: £56,983.68, plus quarterly performance bonus (£325–£750) – OTE exceeding £60,000

Continental 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days / 2 nights)
