Central Belt Scotland (East or West Based)
Up to £44,000 + On-Call Allowance + Overtime

FMSS Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading facilities management company to recruit an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their growing engineering team.

Covering commercial contracts across the Central Belt, you'll be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a varied portfolio of client sites.
The Role
As a Mobile Maintenance Electrician, you'll work across a range of commercial properties carrying out electrical maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and testing to ensure client assets remain fully operational and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems.
* Attend reactive maintenance callouts and fault-finding activities.
* Complete electrical repairs and minor installation works.
* Undertake fixed wire testing and electrical inspections.
* Carry out testing and inspection of electrical installations where qualified.
* Diagnose faults and recommend remedial works.
* Complete maintenance records and compliance documentation.
* Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with current regulations.
* Build positive relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service.
* Participate in the on-call rota.
About You
We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician with a strong background in commercial building maintenance.
Essential
* Qualified Electrician.
* Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance.
* Experience with fixed wire testing.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Desirable
* Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent).
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
* Previous experience within Facilities Management or Building Services.
