Maintenance Electrician

This maintenance electrician role is a rare static position based in the Stoke-on-Trent area with free easy parking. The role will cover a large static site with plenty of work to keep you busy.

The role will involve looking after a popular retail site. On site you will be responsible for carrying out Electrical Service, Electrical Maintenance and Electrical Repair on commercial systems including lighting, power, and emergency lighting. This will also involve planned and reactive maintenance.

You will be working for a well-established team and the workload is manageable and more 'relaxed' than other contracts. This will suit someone who is fed up of lone working and wants to be part of a team.

As the maintenance electrician you will be on call one week in 4/5, but the calls are trained well so you won't be getting called out unnecessarily. You are also only on call on your days at the site meaning you can fully relax on your days off.

You will need to be a qualified electrician. Ideally you will have AM2 (or equivalent) and 18th edition. You should be comfortable working on commercial electrical systems and happy to fault-find.

This role is Monday to Friday, but you will need flexibility to work 1 weekend every month but don't worry, you will get two days off in the week to counter this.

The basic is solid with up to £38,000 + call out on top! The role also comes with overtime opportunities so there is scope to earn a lot more money on top.
