Maintenance Electrician
Meridian are working with a well-established M&E contractor in the North-west who are growing their maintenance team. With a wide variety of work on commercial contracts in the area, there are plenty of additional earning possibilities as well as a strong benefits package. Progression, upskilling, and trainingRequirements for this role:
Qualified Electrician - Installation or Approved Electrician JIB Gold card
2391 or equivalent Inspection and Testing qualifications desirable but NOT essential
Proven experience in commercial electrical maintenance
Strong understanding of electrical systems, safety standards, and fault-finding
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Good communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
Full and valid UK Driving LicenceDuties include (but are not exclusive to):
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Being available for a call-out rota when needed
EICR Testing, Emergency Lighting Testing, distribution board servicing, power & lighting rip out and upgrades
Installing, upgrading, and maintaining electrical equipment
Responding to reactive maintenance requests
Ensuring compliance with all electrical and safety regulations
