Mobile Maintenance Electrician
Location: Swindon & surrounding areas
Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm, 40 hours per week
On Call: 1 in 7
Travel: Paid after the first 30 minutes each way

The Role
 
We are looking for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join a leading Facilities Management provider, covering a portfolio of commercial retail and office sites across Swindon and the surrounding area.
This is a permanent, mobile position offering a salary of up to £45,000, excellent benefits and long-term job security with a well-established organisation.
You'll be responsible for carrying out a mixture of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive electrical repairs, fault finding, testing, inspections and minor electrical works across multiple commercial sites.
 
What You'll Be Doing

Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial sites
Diagnose and repair electrical faults
Complete electrical testing and inspections
Carry out minor electrical installations and remedial works
Maintain lighting, power, distribution boards, switches and associated electrical systems
Complete PPM tasks in line with maintenance schedules
Identify defects and recommend necessary repairs or follow-up works
Complete job sheets, compliance documentation and maintenance records
Use a tablet/mobile system to manage and close down jobs
Liaise with site managers, customers and the wider maintenance team
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with current regulations
Participate in a 1 in 7 on-call rota What We're Looking For
 
You'll ideally already have experience working as a Maintenance Electrician, Mobile Electrician, Electrical Engineer or FM Engineer within commercial buildings, retail, facilities management or a multi-site environment.
 
Essential:

NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Previous commercial electrical maintenance experience
Strong fault-finding and repair skills
Full UK Driving Licence Desirable:

City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent
Experience within retail or multi-site Facilities Management
Experience completing PPM and reactive maintenance Salary & Benefits

£42,000 - £45,000 per annum
Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:00pm
40-hour working week
