Description:
Our client is a well-established mineral and aggregates contractor who are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator in the Southwest of England due to the growth of the business. This is an office-based role.
Maintenance Coordinator Position Overview
Handle all administrative tasks for maintenance jobs.
Keep engineers and the maintenance team updated on job progress.
Assist the Head of Field Service in dispatching engineers for breakdowns.
Obtain quotes for parts and track order status.
Create and process purchase orders.
Manage and schedule call-outs from external service providers.
Maintain service reports, regulatory checks, and asset documents.
Enter Asset Condition Report data and update defect logs in the system.
Manage administrative tasks, reporting, and stock control for wear components like tyres, buckets, and undercarriage.
Maintenance Coordinator Position Requirements
Must have experience in data entry and administrative tasks.
Experience working with engineers on service or repair jobs is needed; construction or quarrying experience is a plus.
Looking for an organized and efficient individual.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required.
Experience with asset database systems, especially Syrinx, is a plus.
Knowledge of mobile plant and components is helpful but not required.
Strong communication skills are essential.
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Work well both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to build and maintain good working relationships.
Maintenance Coordinator Position Remuneration
Salary: £28,000- £34,000
Working Hours: 8:30 - 17:00; Monday to Friday
Holidays Package: 23 days + 8BH
