Description:
We have a great opportunity for an expanding company based in Peterlee who are looking for a Maintenance Apprentice to join the team. The Maintenance Apprentice role would suit someone with some machine experience or a recent college leaver who is looking to get into a Mechanical Maintenance role.
The role will involve working a 3 shift pattern: Day Shift Monday to Friday 6.00am-2.00pm, Back Shift Monday to Friday 2.00pm - 10.00pm and Night Shift Sunday to Thursday 10.00pm to 6.00am.
The rate of pay is £12.13 per hour for day shift and back shift, the night shift includes a 20% shift alliance meaning nights are paid at £14.56 per hour. Total annual salary £26,910.
Full training will be giving, duties will include:
* Monitoring working machines and reacting to faults
* Stripping machinery and pumps down
* Carry out routine checks on the machinery
* Cleaning of machinery
* Working alongside the maintenance technician to assist with repairs
Essential Experience:
* Experience working with industrial machinery
* Ability to get to site for the shift times
Desired Experience:
* Engineering qualification
