£31,697 – £35,119 per annum (dependent on experience)

4 on / 4 off (12-hour shifts – days & nights)

We are currently recruiting for multiple Machine Technicians to join a well-established manufacturing site. These roles will support the operation, maintenance, and optimisation of production machinery.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technicians looking to join a busy, high-volume production environment with strong team support and long-term opportunities.

Key Responsibilities for this Machine Technician role:

•             Carry out maintenance, repair, and fault-finding on production machinery

•             Work directly on extrusion blow moulding machines

•             Support continuous operation of manufacturing lines

•             Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults

•             Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

•             Ensure machinery is operating at optimum efficiency and safety standards

•             Work closely with production and engineering teams

•             Assist with machine improvements and process optimisation

•             Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports

Requirements for this Machine Technician role:

•             Previous experience working as a Machine Technician / Engineer / Maintenance Technician

•             Experience in Extrusion Blow Moulding (highly desirable)

•             Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills

•             Background in manufacturing or production environments

•             Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days and nights on a 4 on / 4 off rota)

•             Good understanding of health & safety practices

•             Ideally able to drive or reliably commute to Port Sunlight site

Salary & Benefits for this Machine Technician role:

•             £31,697.69 per annum (baseline salary)

•             Up to £35,119 per annum for candidates with EDM experience

•             Shift-based role (4 on / 4 off – days & nights)
