Job Title: Machine Setter / Operator
Location: Coleshill - Warwickshire
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 (Shift Included)
Contract Type: Permanent
Shift: 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm (Rotating)
Important Information: Training will be on night shift for a period of up to 6 Months. May be some flexibility on exact work hours during this period.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Machine Setter to join a global manufacturing business producing a range of products.
You’ll be used to working in a manufacturing environment within a larger team and be happy ensuring smooth operation of your machine area.
Key Responsibilities – Machine Setter
Setting up machinery before production begins.
Check product output with reference to drawings, specifications, systems and agreed checking frequency.
Operating machinery during production runs, starting the production process, and monitoring machine operations.
Monitoring machinery performance and watching for any signs of malfunction or deviations from manufacturing standards.
Meeting quality control standards throughout the production process to ensure products meet certain standards.
Maintaining accurate records of machine settings, production data, and quality inspection results.
Qualifications & Requirements – Machine Setter
Minimum of two years of experience in setting up equipment within the production environment
Previous experience working with metal or forming products.
Experience maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
