Machine Operator
Location: Malvern
Salary: £12-£14 per hour
Monday to Friday: 07:45 – 16:15
Occasional Saturday overtime shifts: 07:00 – 12:00 (as required)
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our team in Malvern. This position offers a hands-on learning experience, working closely with the Operations/Production Manager to master the operation of various machines and production lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Hands-on learning of machine and line operations.
Work with the Operations/Production Manager to reduce product changeover times.
Introduce standardized setting routines and drive process improvements.
Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and maximize business opportunities.
Inspire others, make recommendations, and lead change initiatives.Requirements:
Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering business, ideally with both large and small batch production processes for a variety of products.
Inquisitive mindset with an understanding of the manufacturing process flow.
Ability to interpret production information and provide sound and constructive analysis.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Determined and proactive approach with enthusiasm for driving process improvements.
