Vac Caster

Location: Quedgeley, Gloucestershire
Hours: Fulltime | Temporary to Permanent | Monday – Friday: 07.00am to 15:00pm or 08.00am to 16:00pm
Salary: Dependent on Experience

Our client is looking for a Vac Caster to join their team!

You will vacuum cast plastic models of various sizes and complexity which have been produced using silicon moulds. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in vacuum casting and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities of a Vac Caster

* Casting parts using silicon moulds.

* Inspecting parts using excellent attention to detail.

* Understanding the behaviour of silicone tools and adapting the mechanics for maximum performance.

* Maintain and promote a proactive attitude towards downstream departments.

Key Skills of a Vac Caster

* Vacuum casting experience or similar transferable skills.

* Engineering apprenticeship.

* Good computer literacy.

* Excellent attention to detail.

* Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.

* Excellent communication skills, good team worker, flexible and able to work under pressure.

* Excellent timekeeping and reliability
