Description:
Pro-Found Recruitment are looking to recruit a Machine Operator based in Newark, NG23.
Machine Operator Benefits:
Location: Newark, NG23
Pay: £12 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 4.30pm
Contract: Temp ongoing possibility of temp to perm
On site parkingMachine Operator Duties:
Working in factory operating machinery - full training will be provided.
Working within a large production environment.
Supporting Production Lines and working as a team ensuring deadlines are being met
Lifting and manual handling required.
Loading material into hopper
Perform routine maintenance such as morning walk round checks on equipment used, and; reporting any damage/faults to management
Grease shovel and other plant as part of maintenance checks
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and clean working environment
General cleaning up of the yardMachine Operator Criteria:
FLT licence preferred but not essential (in house will be considered)
Willingness to do a duel role in the factory operating machinery as well as yard work
Previous experience as a machine operative preferred but not essential
Must have a good work ethic and be hard working
Professional and effective communication skills with colleagues
Calm under pressure and proactive in solving problems
Reliable, excellent attendance and timekeeping
Willingness to learn and develop
Flexible with the role and duties
Excellent attention to detail
Can work in a team and independently
