Machine Operator

Description:

Mpeople are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join the expanding team of our Glossop based client on a full time, permanent basis. This role will work on a 2 shift rotation, including both days and nights.

Training will be completed on days before shifts commence.

Role: Machine Operator

Location: Glossop

Salary: £29,000 to £32,000

Hours: 48 per week. 6:30am to 6:30pm AND 6:30pm to 6:30am, Monday to Thursday

Your role as a Machine Operator will include:

* Operating machinery to assist with the manufacturing process

* Working at the end of the line to ensure finished products are checked and packed before dispatch

* Performing quality checks on finished products, testing suitability and ensure they meet the correct standards

* Labelling finished products and packaging

* Changing the line where necessary

* Supplying raw materials

* Storing finished products until they are ready to be dispatched

* Handling FLT

* Completing manual handling and lifting tasks where necessary

Skills required for this role:

* Must be physically fit as this is a demanding role

* Previous experience operating machinery is a must

* FLT experience is ideal
