Press Brake Operator
Location: Kingswinford, West Midlands
Salary: £12.80 - £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a busy manufacturing and engineering company based in Kingswinford.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous Press Brake experience who is looking for a long-term position, working consistent Monday to Friday day shifts with the potential to become permanent.
The role:
Setting and operating Press Brake machinery
Working from engineering drawings and specifications
Folding and forming sheet metal components
Selecting and changing tooling where required
Measuring components using verniers and other measuring equipment
Carrying out quality checks throughout production
Ensuring components meet required tolerances and specifications
Working to production targets and deadlines
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
The ideal candidate:
Previous Press Brake operating experience is essential
Press Brake setting experience is desirable
Able to read and understand engineering drawings
Previous experience working with sheet metal
Confident using measuring equipment
Good attention to detail and quality
Reliable and committed to full-time work
Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Benefits:
£12.80 - £13.50 per hour, depending on experience
Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm
No weekend working
Temporary to permanent opportunity
