MDH are recruiting for a Machine Operators to join our clients team in Coatbridge.
This is a full-time role, and you’ll work Monday to Friday. You need to work a week of dayshift, then a week of backshift. You will get a half day every Friday. You need to work both shift patterns on a weekly rotating basis.
No weekend work and you will be paid an enhanced rate for any overtime you chose to work.
Hours of Work:
All hours - £13.73 per hour.
* Dayshift : 6am-2pm - Weekly pay.
* Backshift: 2pm-10pm - Weekly pay.
You need machine operation experience for this role.
Machine Operator Job/ Duties:
* Understanding how machines operate, conduct quality checks periodically and adjust the machine as needed for changeover
* To be responsible for the health and safety of yourself and others whilst at work.
* Ability to follow instructions and production schedules. To be able to act quickly when problems arise.
* Carry out cleaning tasks to a high standard.
* To operate the machinery in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring operating efficiency is maximised and downtime minimised.
Skills Required:
* Excellent attention to detail, be able to solve problems and make decisions
* Excellent planning and organisational skills coupled with a 'can do attitude'
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment working towards deadlines and targets
* As a Team member you must be versatile and willing to do whatever is needed to support the team
* Willing to learn, Enthusiastic and motivated
