Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm
£12.71 per hour (Pay review following successful probation)
Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is recruiting for a Machine Operative on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company in Huthwaite.
This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on manufacturing work and is looking for a stable Monday to Friday position with full training provided.
The Role
As a Machine Operative, you'll be responsible for:
Setting up and operating production machinery
Learning machine settings and basic programming
Measuring products accurately using a tape measure
Recording production measurements and quality checks
Monitoring production throughout each run
Maintaining high quality standards
Keeping your work area clean and organised
Following all health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with people who have:
Previous manufacturing, production or machine operating experience
Experience working to measurements using a tape measure
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
A reliable work history and good attendance record
A practical, hands-on approach with good mechanical aptitude
An FLT licence (beneficial but not essential)
