£12.80 per hour | Weekly Pay | Immediate Start Available
Location: Stansted Area (CM22)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 16:00
Contract: Temporary with the opportunity to become permanent
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Machine Assembly / Technical Repair Operative to join a busy Technical Repairs Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands-on individual who enjoys repairing, assembling, and troubleshooting equipment.
Working within a dedicated repairs team, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, refurbishing products, and supporting general warehouse operations. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnosing and identifying technical faults
Repairing and refurbishing products
Using drills, hand tools, and workshop equipment safely and effectively
Replacing components such as cables, batteries, and wheels
Testing refurbished units to ensure they are fully operational
Recording repairs and returns using a computerised system
Following assembly instructions and technical specifications
Supporting general warehouse and stock-related duties
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
About You
Previous assembly, repair, production, engineering, or warehouse experience would be beneficial
Comfortable using drills, hand tools, and basic workshop equipment
Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
Able to troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues
Basic computer skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Available to start as soon as possible

Please note: Our client is based near the M11/A120 Roundabout Corridor, therefore own transport is preferable due to location and accessibility.
