TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Primary SEND school in Stechford, supporting with their recruitment for a Lunchtime Supervisor. The setting is centred on pupil’s development, as well as an intrinsic desire to make progress both academically and with their own emotional, social and behavioural skills.
The school is seeking out a passionate team player to take on the role. A successful SEND Lunchtime supervisor who can bring a new dimension and skill set to what can be achieved in this short-term role, with potential to become a long-term placement for the right Lunchtime Supervisor.
The position will involve working with students across all Key Stages with diagnosis of Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, and challenging behaviours. A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary.
The successful SEND Lunchtime Supervisor will have:
Experience working with children with additional needs / disabilities
Experience working with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviours
Level 2 or 3 CACHE or equivalent
Team-Teach or MAPA qualifications desirable
