Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Salary: £19,118 per annum (pro rata), based on a full-time equivalent salary of £25,183

Housed within a bright, open building with excellent facilities, the school is committed to promoting high aspirations, student wellbeing and academic success.
The school is looking to appoint a permanent Learning Support Assistant from September on a full-time basis. The successful Learning Support Assistant will support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging engagement in lessons, promoting independence and helping students to access the curriculum both inside and outside the classroom.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
• Level 2 Maths and English qualifications or GCSE equivalent certificates
• Previous experience working with children or young people
• Experience supporting students with SEND is highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• A positive, resilient and proactive approach
