Locum Housing Litigation Solicitor

Long-term locum contract of 12 Months
£55-£60 per hour depending on experience and office attendance
Hybrid workingThe Role

Manage a full housing litigation caseload
Handle possession proceedings, rent arrears and anti-social behaviour matters
Conduct housing disrepair work, including defending related claims
Defend housing-related judicial review applications
Obtain injunctions, including utility access injunctions
Attend court regularly and undertake advocacyRequirements

Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive
Recent local authority housing litigation experience
Strong advocacy skills with the ability to attend court
Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
Experience handling disrepair, ASB, possession and injunction mattersThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established local authority legal team, working on a varied caseload with plenty of advocacy and a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
