NES Fircroft are currently recruiting for a Logistics Support Operator for our client based in Manchester on a contract basis.
This is a contract role up until December 2024, you will be joining an ever expanding team and be a key part of the Logistics and Operations department.

Duties:
Creating budgets
Approves invoices and monitors cost spent for all services which are contracted from CP Logistics.
Acts as a key contact for Ariba accounts payable process within ELOM ( create PO requisitions, initiate opening of new vendors, check incoming invoices)
Provide training on nonconformity systems to CP Logistics users and, if needed, to external partners.
Acts as coordinator in a nonconformity system and as such, ensure that issues are managed, and corrective actions are taken promptly.
Take initiatives for process improvement and cost savings project.
Skills:
Experience in logistics/customer service operations and or some accounts payable experience
International experience working with large multinationals
Used to work in a complex, cross functional business environment
Good knowledge of processes linked to logistics (e.g. warehousing, customs, order management) and practices of SAP SD/MM and MS Office with a particular advanced knowhow and practices on Excel
Sense of urgency, balanced, with sense of priorities
Education:
Bachelor degree or similar in a commercial/business or technical subject
Fluent in English, both orally and in writing – any other language would be a plus
Supplier management expertise
