Logistics & Stock Coordinator
Our Wickford based client is seeking to recruit a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who will thrive in a fast-paced environment to join their team as a Business Operations Coordinator.
Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, you will work closely with cross functional teams including sales, production, technical and finance, to ensure we continually meet customer needs and requirements.
Key Responsibilities include:
To monitor and manage stock levels at various locations
Forecast supply and demand requirements
Update and review weekly stock reports
Process all customer orders in a timely manner
Maintain contact and liaise regularly with customers regarding orders
Raise all invoices within 3 working days of delivery
Respond promptly to queries and discrepancies
Request and manage process for customs clearance via external agencies
Organising and booking haulage utilising internal and external suppliers
Liaising with Production staff to monitor Manufacturing orders.
Ensure all documentation and systems are always kept up to date
Responsible for meeting individual and business targets within the agreed timeframes
Perform other related tasks as necessary
The ideal Candidate will have
Logistics experience
Stock management experience
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Proactive and the ability to work without supervision
Organised, focused and efficient at multitasking
Calm under pressure
English and Maths GCSE Grade C or equivalent
Experience of using a CRM system, Sage 200 preferred
Ability to use all Microsoft packages and strong excel experience
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm
