Are you a logistics planner/ coordinator, or similar, seeking a progressive role with a Haulage Group who have been operating for over 55 years, where you will benefit from ongoing training and development, and the chance to progress to a transport principle role?
This is a dynamic role within the transport industry, where you will be assisting the transport team in all planning duties in order to provide efficiency and fluidity. Your expertise in Transport Planning will be instrumental in propelling your career to new heights in this highly autonomous role.
You will be responsible for effective planning of vehicles, routes, deliveries and workloads. This role will also require you to supervise performance of drivers, provide maintenance as scheduled, update traffic systems, attend operational meetings and seek all opportunities for continuous improvement.

THE ROLE:
* Plan routes, loads, deliveries and workloads.
* Ensure maintenance is carried out as per schedule
* Manage any transport issues, with the ability to problem solve quickly
* Update all traffic systems
* Resolve late or misdelivered items
THE PERSON:
* Background in Transport / Logistics or Distribution
* CPC Qualification (preferred)
* Commutable to Highbridge
