Description:
Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a Logistics Planner to join an industrial supplier within the West Bromwich area.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
-Manage day to day running of the yard
-Planning drivers run with geographical knowledge
-Deal with any issues in the yard regarding stock shortages
-Plan driver routes accordingly
-Arrange container shipment in and out
-Data inputting
-Liaising with customers via phone and email
-Arrange weekly inspections in absence of transport manager
The ideal candidate:
-Must be able to work off own initiative
-Geographical knowledge
-Able to prioritise tasks
-Driving licence is beneficial but not essential
Hours of Work:

Monday - Friday
Pay rate is £11.44 per hour with opportunities to progress.
This is temporary to permanent position after a successful trial period.
