Logistics Operative

We are seeking a hardworking and proficient

Goods in person (Full time) to work in our calibration laboratory in Harrogate, We calibrate , repair and service all types of electrical and mechanical instrumentation for a wide verity of industries, Railway, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Automotive,Health Care, Aeronautical to mention a few. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing of goods in including matching up paperwork Processing of “Goods Out” completing relevant paperwork. Organisation of stock received from suppliers, and then allocate said stock to instruments.Liaise with external offices, labs & dispatch to ensure deliveries go out within the agreed time frame.Checking of consignments to ensure all units are present & correct & have the relevant documentation.The checking and chasing of customer special requirements.* booking in of customers instruments on our in tracking system.Are you an experienced Logistics Operative looking for a new opportunity? About the Role

Local collections and delivery , Possible occasional driver cover.

Your responsibilities will be:

organisation & dealing with of goods in and goods out

Packing / un-packing

booking in

Ensuring completion of orders and matching paperwork

Collection & delivery of instruments from customers premises.

Meeting customers dead lines.

Holiday and sickness cover for team members

Requirements

·        Ideally 5 GCSE’s level 4 or higher or equivalent - essential to be numerate and literate

·        Computer literate

·        Driving Licence

·        Flexible and highly motivated individual with a desire to learn and progress

·        Ability to work under own direction and monitor own workload

·        Ability to diligently follow work procedures and practices

·        Attention to detail
