Logistics Manager - with a Slinger/Signaller ticket – Camden, London
Duration: 1.5 Years
Location: Camden, London
Rate: Competitive (DOE)
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager with a Slinger/Signaller ticket to join a busy construction project in Camden. This is a long-term opportunity with approximately 18 months of work available.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all site logistics activities, coordinating deliveries, supervising logistics operatives and labourers, and ensuring the smooth running of site operations.
Logistics Manager Key Responsibilities
* Manage all site logistics and material deliveries.
* Operate and manage the site delivery booking system.
* Coordinate and schedule deliveries to site.
* Liaise with the Project Manager and wider site team.
* Work closely with the Crane Supervisor to coordinate lifting operations.
* Manage and supervise labourers and logistics operatives.
* Ensure materials are received, stored and distributed efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records and site logistics documentation.
* Identify and resolve logistical issues proactively.
Essential Requirements
* Valid Slinger/Signaller ticket.
* Previous experience as a Logistics Manager on construction projects.
* Strong IT and computer skills.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Experience managing labour and coordinating site logistics.
* Ability to work proactively and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Desirable
* M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) project experience.
* Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
* Knowledge of crane operations and lifting procedures.
