Liberty Recruitment Group is delighted to be working exclusively with a leading distributor in supporting them in their search for a Logistics Manager based in Fareham. This is a full-time, permanent position and is predominately office-based.
The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for the operational management of the logistics, transport and warehouse functions.
Some of your duties will include:
Ensuring employees adhere to Health & Safety
Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on the depot KPI’s
Responsible for Depot Financial budgeting and control
Managing and motivating a team of 12 staff
Ensuring optimum utilisation of resources, drivers and vehicles
Building and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients and suppliers
As an individual, you must have previous experience working in a similar logistics environment.
You will need an excellent working knowledge of H&S practices, people management experience and strong leadership skills. You will also need to be a team builder, motivating, and keen to lead by example.
The salary on offer is between £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience, plus car allowance, numerous company benefits, including; 25 days holiday and more!
