We are looking for Logistics coordinator’s in the Derby area to support a brand new operation within an expanding operation, you will be responsible for an average of 30 inbound vehicles working to tight deadlines, handling multiple supplier deliveries in same load. You will ensure the accuracy of inbound/outbound documentation and system information as well as ensuring the customer receives accurate, timely paperwork and reports. Please be aware this is NOT an office based role, you will be required to work in a warehouse/logistics based environment at all times.

Duties:

· Ensuring deadlines are met working to the clients Just In Time requirements

· Liaising with all areas of the warehouse operation

· Escalating issues with missing or incorrect consignments

· Communicating with management, client and operational teams

· Planning, scheduling and communication of work within the warehouse

· Verifying the accuracy of inbound and outbound shipping documentation

· Coordinating documentation for incoming freight

· Monitoring and tracking incoming containers

· Assisting the Customer Service team and Yard Operations teams with data entry

· Proficient with Excel

Skills:

· Attention to detail

· Working to strict deadlines

· Previous transport and warehouse operations experience

· Previous experience of WMS is essential for this role

· Data entry

· Freight, driver and consignment documentation
