Description:
Our client, a well-established organisation based in Slough, is seeking an organised and efficient Logistics Co-ordinator to support the smooth running of its day-to-day transport and administrative operations.
This is a term-time position offering an actual salary of £25,000 to £28,500 per annum, together with a contributory pension scheme and Employee Assistance Programme.
This varied role will involve co-ordinating transport arrangements, responding to enquiries and providing wider administrative support within a busy office environment. It would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of operational tasks, can manage changing priorities and is confident communicating with a wide range of people.
This position is full-time Term Time only, Monday to Friday (7.30am-4.30pm) + 11 Saturdays per annum (7.30am-12.30pm).
Key duties:
* Co-ordinating daily transport arrangements and ensuring services operate smoothly and efficiently.
* Responding to telephone and email enquiries in a professional and helpful manner.
* Maintaining accurate records and updating internal databases and systems.
* Producing reports, documentation and other administrative information as required.
* Liaising with colleagues and service users to resolve queries and communicate changes.
* Supporting the wider office team with general administrative duties.
* Managing competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key skills and experience:
* Strong organisational skills with a methodical approach to work.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
* Experience using databases or management information systems.
* Ability to prioritise effectively in a busy working environment.
* Calm, resilient and adaptable approach.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Positive and professional manner with a willingness to support colleagues.
