Description:
We are looking for an experienced Import & Export Coordinator to join a busy operations team supporting international logistics, customs compliance, and freight movements across the UK and Europe.
This is a long-term contract opportunity.
Working hours:
Monday-Thursday 8:30-17:00
Friday 8:30-13:30 (flexibility available)
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating exports across Europe via road freight and courier services
Managing import clearances, customs documentation, and CPC codes
Liaising with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers
Supporting returns management and inbound shipments
Ensuring compliance with Incoterms 2020 and UK customs procedures
Supporting continuous improvement across logistics and customs processesRequirements:
Experience within logistics, import/export, or customs operations
Strong understanding of international freight and customs compliance
Knowledge of IPR licensing requirements desirable
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Manufacturing or operational environment experience preferred
