Job Title: Logistics Administrator

Location: Didcot Quarter (near Milton Park), Abingdon

Salary: £27,000 per annum + Bonus

Job Type: Permanent, Full time

The Role:

The Logistics Administrator reports to the Operations Manager and provides administrative support to the Logistics team at DQ 120. This role is responsible for accurate and timely administration of all goods passing through the warehouse, ensuring that EHSQ processes are followed, quality is maintained and both internal and external KPIs are met across the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate and timely completion of all Logistics administrative work including goods in and good out, stores and any other transactions both at Head Office and Customer sites
Maintain accurate transactional data in SAP and HELIS databases
Process customer requests
Provide information for customs declaration and work with external supplier to ensure correct documentation provided to the UK line
Liaise with vendors and coordinate Goods In diary to optimise workflow
Support internal and external Key Performance Indicators (KPI) targets and report to operational management as requested
Collate and check the end of month data required by Finance within agreed timescale and report any additional charges to ensure that all work is correctly invoiced
Ensure accurate and timely submission of sample and inventory counts, investigating discrepancies that arise using the Quality Variance Report (QVR) process when appropriate
Ensure that customer complaints and queries received by administrative staff are correctly reported, investigated and responded to and support managers in the investigation of Problem Solving Reports (PSRs) and QVRs
Maintain an accurate mechanical handling log and ensure monthly submission to Siemens Magnet Technology (SMT) and Finance
Maintain an accurate project log and ensure monthly submission to SMT and Finance
Maintain archive data in accordance with Customer instruction or internal guidelines
Provide a monthly analysis of query log entries and suggest process and efficiency improvements based on the analysis
Support transactional Time In Motion (TIM) data and studies internally
Support the training of colleagues in Administration tasks
Complete training which is relevant to the company, the position or personal development
Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Management teamHealth, Safety and Security:

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken
Excellent IT skills
Experience of data entry and order processing
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Administration experience in a process driven environmentDesirable:

Knowledge of SAP
Experience of supply chain administration and inventory control
Counterbalance and Reach Forklift certificates
Experience of Aviation security or AEO processesThe Company:
