Full Time - Locum Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Hillside Animal Sanctuary, Frettenham, Norfolk
Salary: Negotiable for the right candidate
Hillside cares for approximately 4,000 rescued animals, including 2,500 horses, in ten sanctuary locations across Norfolk. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Locum Veterinary Surgeon to manage their veterinary care as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Routine health checks, vaccinations and preventative care.
* Diagnosing, treating illnesses and injuries.
* Perform basic surgeries and emergency procedures.
* Advise on managing herd and flock health.
* Supporting staff with veterinary advice and training.
Requirements
* MRCVS registered with a valid UK practicing licence.
* Minimum 2 years' veterinary experience.
* Equine/Farm animal experience essential
* Passion for animal welfare and rescue work
