Join a Supportive Educational Psychology Team

A well-established Educational Psychology Service in North London is looking for experienced HCPC Registered Educational Psychologists to support the team with statutory assessment work.

This role is ideal for an Educational Psychologist with 3+ years' post-qualification experience who enjoys statutory assessment work and is looking for a well-supported locum opportunity. The role is primarily face-to-face, with assessments taking place across schools, early years settings and family homes.

You will be responsible for completing statutory assessments for children and young people across the North London area.

The role involves face-to-face consultations, observations and assessments, working closely with schools, families and other professionals. You will also produce high-quality statutory psychological advice and reports while managing your caseload and meeting statutory timescales.

Responsibilities - Locum Educational Psychologist

Complete statutory assessments for children and young people
Carry out face-to-face consultations and observations
Visit schools, early years settings and family homes
Liaise with parents, schools and other professionals
Produce high-quality statutory advice and psychological reports
Manage an allocated caseload effectively
Meet 100% of statutory deadlines
Fully engage with the service's quality assurance process
Work in line with GDPR and service policies
Make effective use of assessment resources and testing equipmentAbout You

To be considered, you'll have:

HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist
3+ years' post-qualification experience
Previous experience completing statutory assessments within a Local Authority
Strong assessment and report-writing skills
Experience working with children and young people in educational settings
The ability to work face-to-face across schools, early years settings and family homes
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own caseload
A commitment to meeting statutory deadlines
