As a locum Consultant in Histopathology, you'll provide expert diagnostic services and contribute to the delivery of high-quality pathology care.
Responsibilities
Performing diagnostic histopathology and cytopathology
Managing laboratory services and ensuring quality control
Supporting junior doctors and laboratory staff
Contributing to service development and auditsWhat We're Looking For
Essential:
MBBS or equivalent medical degree
Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
FRCPath or equivalent
A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
UK Right to Work
Strong communication and teamworking skills
Desirable:
CCT in Histopathology (or within 6 months of achieving it)
