Day Webster Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Consultant CAMHS Psychiatrist to join our NHS client's community CAMHS team. This full-time position offers an immediate start, subject to compliance status. Requirements:

Must hold GMC Licence to Practice
Right to work in the UK and minimum 6 months UK experience
AC Status and Section 12 approval (Desirable)
Responsibilities:

Provide specialist psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to children and adolescents with a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioural disorders.
Develop and implement individualised care plans and treatment interventions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, nurses, and therapists, to support the holistic needs of patients and their families.
Conduct risk assessments, crisis interventions, and safeguarding measures, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable young people and promoting positive outcomes in mental health and emotional resilience.
Participate in clinical governance activities, audit processes, and service development initiatives, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based CAMHS services and adherence to national guidelines and standards.
