It is essential that all applicants have UK working experience. Our client, a bank based in Central London is looking for a Loans Administration Officer to join them on a 1 year fixed term contract.
The successful candidate will undertake the day-to-day servicing and checking of the administration activity of the credit administration department. To maintain safe custody, review the daily excess reports, check the daily large exposure report, the monthly credit facilities report and prepare and submit quarterly administration fees.
Main Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Carry out the day-to-day debt serving activity of the loan portfolio – to include rollovers, rate fixing, drawdown, repayments, and fees.
* Ensure all Loans Administration and Credit files are maintained.
* Prepare the quarterly fees reports of all due administration and commitment fees.
* Monitor and ensure the timely renewal of property valuations and insurance policies.
* Liaise with relevant departments in relation to loans administration matters and Credit Administration and Control Department proposals as required.
* Assist in the preparation of and review of facility documentation.
* Assist in preparing various monthly Credit Administration and Control Department reports for submission to the Credit Committee.
* Maintenance of Safe Custody: lodging, despatching, reconciling (audit purposes) and archiving security documents.
* Provision of desk cover (holidays/ sickness) as required, undertaking additional duties to include monitoring of the Daily Large Exposure report for accuracy, Monitoring Rating Agency alerts/ updates for change, preparation of LMS limit update forms as required and managing referrals from Retail and Documentary Credit department.
* Ensure that the Bank’s AML, Counter Terrorist Financing, Sanctions, Anti-bribery & Corruption and Fraud Prevention, Complaint Handling and Treating your Customers Fairly policies and procedures, together with other regulatory guidelines are adhered to at all times in respect of the duties detailed above.
* Ensure that the policies and procedures for the Conduct Rules requirements are adhered to in respect of the duties detailed above.
Experience & Skills required:
* Experience of credit and loans administration.
* Awareness of the regulatory/ compliance environment.
