Our Client based in London ( London Branch of a Global Bank has been providing a wide range of financial services such as loans, securities, derivatives, foreign exchange and investment banking business to domestic and international corporate customers who entered the United Kingdom as well as Europe and the Middle East)
is looking for a Loan Portfolio Manager.
Key Role and Responsibility
[Portfolio Management]
* Efficiently manage a diverse portfolio of Loan transactions.
* Maintain a comprehensive overview of the status of each deal, ensuring all reviews and undertakings are promptly and accurately executed.
[Covenant Compliance]
* Verify covenant compliance of customers within the portfolio.
* Proactively identify and raise potential issues concerning portfolio assets to the management team.
[Waiver and Amendment Requests Handling]
* Address waiver and amendment requests promptly and effectively.
* Present comprehensive workout plans to management when required.
[Primary Point of Contact]
* Act as the primary point of contact for all aspects related to portfolio management.
* Foster strong and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
[Agent Bank Functions]
* Calculate interest payment amounts due from customers.
* Ensure ongoing compliance with financial covenants.
* Prepare accurate compliance certificates in a timely manner.
* Perform various administrative tasks integral to the responsibilities of an agent bank.
* Maintain organised and up-to-date records related to the portfolio.
[Issue Reporting]
* Report portfolio-related issues promptly and effectively to the management team.
[Flexibility and Additional Responsibilities]
* Demonstrate flexibility by undertaking additional activities as assigned by your manager.
* Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within the portfolio management function.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience (+5years) in managing diverse Loan portfolios, particularly in Infrastructure and Real Estate.
* Strong understanding of financial covenants and compliance requirements.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to analyse loan documents i.e. financial models, valuation reports and provide informed recommendations.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
* Proficient in Excel
