Loading Team Member

Do you have experience working in a warehouse environment? Are you physically fit and able to regularly lift items of up to 25KG? Have a strong sense of Health and Safety in the workplace?

Randstad Engineering are currently recruiting for a Loading Team Member to come and work for Tata Steel UK, Shotton within the Warehouse Team.

Role: Loading Team Member

Location: Shotton

Rate: £13.93 per hour

Shift Patterns:

* Week 1 - 6am - 2pm

* Week 2 2pm - 10pm

The Role

We have a temporary opportunity which would be working on a rolling contract for the foreseeable future for a Loading Team Member. This role would require you to be physically fit and possess the ability to be flexible on working Double Day Shifts, either 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm.

Role Dynamic

Operate processing machinery and material handling equipment in a safe and productive manner and to good standards of workmanship in order to deliver the required levels of customer service.

Understand and support maintenance activities to facilitate optimum productivity.

Understand, deploy and seek to recommend improvements to production control procedures to support team performance objectives.

Handle all material including checking stock records, labeling and storing according to commercial requirements and Tata Steel policy.

*

Be actively involved in your own personal development plans to maximize performance in the role and the contribution to succession requirements of the business.

Impart knowledge of processes and activities to others in a structured and formal manner to support the team’s operational and development objectives.
