Salary: £27,976.00 plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday 645am - 3.15pm (30 mins unpaid lunch)

Location: Lynnbottom Household Waste Recycling Centre,Newport PO30 2PD - covering the Isle of Wight

What you'll be doing;

With one of the largest growing fleets in the UK, our drivers are pivotal to delivering essential services. They work hard to serve their local communities and make a positive impact every day.

This is predominantly a loader role, but ad hoc driving duties will be required in a 3.5T van
Heavy lifting and manual handling of trade waste bins and containers
Moving and repositioning heavy commercial bins and euro containers
Servicing commercial premises, including shops, businesses and industrial sites
Completing daily vehicle checks (walkaround checks) and reporting defects
Adhering to all road traffic legislation and company health & safety policies
Maintaining accurate records, including driver defect reports and tachograph compliance
Working across all weather conditions throughout the year
