Responsibilities in your new role as Chef de Partie
As Chef de Partie, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day success of the kitchen. Your key responsibilities include:
* Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes within your designated section
* Managing your section efficiently during busy service periods
* Supporting, mentoring, and guiding junior members of the kitchen brigade
* Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness
* Monitoring stock levels and minimising waste
* Working closely with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences
* Ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented in line with company standards and client requirements
* Contributing to a positive, collaborative, and professional kitchen environment
Your personality, experience and qualifications
You are an experienced Chef de Partie who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen delivering consistently high standards. You can hit the ground running. You'll ideally have:
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in an similar role
* Strong knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety, and HACCP procedures
* The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen
* You take pride in your work and never let a dish below standard leave the kitchen
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive, reliable, and positive attitude
