Location: Peterborough
Salary: £17.00 per hour + £125 Monthly Attendance Bonus + Overtime Available
Pin Point Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading print manufacturing company in Peterborough to recruit an experienced Lithographic Printer to join their production team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business operating modern Heidelberg lithographic printing equipment in a fast-paced, quality-driven manufacturing environment.
As a Lithographic Printer, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a 4 Colour Heidelberg Lithographic Printing Press, ensuring all work is produced to the highest quality standards while maintaining efficient production and minimising waste.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Set up, operate, and maintain a 4 Colour Heidelberg Lithographic Printing Press.
* Produce high-quality printed work, maintaining colour consistency and accurate registration throughout production.
* Carry out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to keep the press running efficiently.
* Monitor production to minimise waste and reduce downtime.
* Complete production records and quality documentation accurately.
* Work closely with colleagues across production and finishing departments to meet customer deadlines.
* Follow all company health and safety procedures at all times.
Shift Pattern
Working 12-hour shifts on a two-week rotating pattern:
* Week 1
* Thursday
* Friday
* Week 2
* Wednesday
* Thursday
* Friday
* Saturday (paid at time and one-third)
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience operating Heidelberg lithographic printing presses or similar equipment.
* Strong understanding of lithographic printing processes.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
* Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
