Linux Systems Engineer

Derby (Hybrid Remote)

Permanent (Full-Time)

£50-55k (DOE) + Benefits

Linux Systems Engineer needed with strong Linux systems administration, operational support + maintenance experience. Start ideally in Summer 2024..

A chance to join an established IT & Telecoms solutions business in Derby. Hybrid remote - 1 day per month on-site in Derby following an initial 1 month induction period.

Key experience + tasks will include:

Strong hands-on Linux infrastructure operational support, systems admin + maintenance experience.

Supporting, maintaining, developing + trouble-shooting customer Linux infrastructure, servers + VPN connections.

Technical integration discussions with customers, engaging with key stakeholders + supporting the drive to ISO 27001 certification.

Advantageous: IP network infrastructure expertise, IP routing protocols, firewalls, filtering, address lists, VPN protocols (SSTP, IPSec) + virtual hosting.
