Linux, AWS, Azure, LAMP Stack
£50,000 - £65,000
Fully Remote (UK Based only)
Linux / DevOps Engineer required to join my client's technical and support team in order to take ownership over their global server infrastructure. This is a role where you will be able to make a real difference to their clients.
As the Linux / DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for:
Taking leadership of global server infrastructure & the relationship with infrastructure partners
Create, maintain & test disaster recovery plans
Create, maintain & test infrastructure growth and security plans
Work with our server infrastructure providers to ensure a security, high-availability platform
Where suitable, provide support to development teams to improve the efficiency and performance of the software
Help trace and replicate client issues and support the development team in resolving the issue
If needed, provide support to existing customers via email, phone and support desk software
Skills Required:
Linux
Have some experience in managing AWS and Azure services
Have formal experience managing LAMP stacks.
Have, or wish to achieve certificates in AWS and Azure services (costs will be covered)
Be self-motivated
Be able to set and meet your own deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively while maintaining regular communication with the team and customers.
