Line Operator - Days
Manpower are currently seeking Line Operators to join an established, global manufacturer based at their Milton Keynes site.
With plans to expand the current operations well under way, it is an exciting time to join the team and start building your career.
The role of the Line Operator is to co-ordinate the safe and efficient running of the production line, including the control of packing and quality of the components being made.
Key responsibilities would be:
* Make-up of cartons / boxes for the packing of finished goods
* Ensure packs / boxes are correctly labelled
* Packing the pallets / boxes according to the required standards
* Sealing and closing the packs
* Any other task deemed reasonable for the role
You will be able to demonstrate:
* Awareness of health and safety practices and ethos
* High attention to detail to ensure quality of part manufactured meet standards
* Effect time management facilitating the efficient running of production lines
* Awareness of importance of maintaining accuracy of production records
* Effective team work
This is a temporary ongoing role with the opportunity to go permanent after a set period.
Hourly rate is £11.67 per hour during the initial ten weeks training which is based on day shifts of 8AM - 8PM Monday to Thursday which is inclusive of a 5% shift premium if all hours worked £12.25
