Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team. This role involves working across Lincolnshire, maintaining and repairing a variety of mobile plant equipment, including dumpers, loading shovels, excavators, and other machinery. Responsibilities
Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of mobile plant equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Provide excellent customer service while working on-site across Lincolnshire.
Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of mobile plant machinery, including dumpers, loading shovels, and excavators.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Full UK driving license.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Day-to-Day
Travel to various sites across Lincolnshire to service and repair mobile plant equipment.
Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
Respond to breakdowns and provide timely repairs to minimize downtime.
Liaise with clients and colleagues to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Keep the service van stocked with necessary tools and parts for efficient on-site work.
