Job Duties:
Designing, installing, and maintaining lighting control systems
Conducting system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality
Collaborating with other engineers and designers to integrate lighting controls with overall building systems
Providing technical support and training to clients on system operation
Staying up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in lighting control technology
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Lighting Control Engineer or similar role
Strong technical knowledge of lighting control systems and protocols
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and implementing lighting control systems
Knowledge and Skills:
Proficiency in programming and configuring lighting control systems
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in lighting control systems (e.g., Lutron, Crestron)
Experience with building automation systems
Working Conditions:
Work primarily in an office environment with occasional site visits
May require working outside of regular business hours to meet project deadlines
Travel to client sites as needed
