Description:
Scotia Handling Services is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a flexible attitude to carry out inspection and testing of Lifting Equipment from our base in Linwood and on client sites across Scotland.
The following ESSENTIAL skills/qualifications are required:
- Holds LEEA Team Card
- Has significant experience in inspection and load testing
- Holds a full valid UK driving license.
Will be required to:
- Carry out LOLER inspections (including marine based)
- Assemble, Manufacture, Inspect, Test, Service and Repair various items of lifting and pulling equipment
- Load testing of specialist custom made fabrications and lifting points on fabrications as well as all items of Lifting Equipment and height safety anchor points/davits
- Inspection of height safety equipment as well as service/repair of fall arrest devices and installation/inspection of lifelines and anchor points
Preferable skills/qualifications:
- NDT Certification (LPI and MPI level 2)
- Forklift/Teletruck license
- Previous experience with height safety installations
