Lift Tester
Lift Commissioning Engineer, Lift Testing Engineer, Lift Installations
Camden Town, Central London
Basic Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Benefits: £600/week standby allowance, Overtime: Monday to Friday: 1.5x pay rate; Weekends & Bank Holidays: 2x pay rate, new company van, all travel expenses paid, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, company discounts scheme, genuine career progression.
Marmon Lift Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Lift Tester to join a leading global lift engineering company, covering a well-established route across London. You'll be responsible for a varied portfolio of passenger and goods lifts, providing advanced technical support, fault diagnosis and specialist expertise across the region.

Commutable from: Central London, Camden, Westminster, Islington, Kensington, Chelsea, Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing, Barnet, Croydon, Watford, Slough and surrounding areas.
Ideal Lift Tester:
NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering or equivalent - Essential
Full UK driving licence - Essential
Proven experience in testing and commissioning new passenger lift installations
Strong knowledge of lift standards, regulations and commissioning procedures
Confident fault-finding and resolving technical issues during commissioning
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely alongside installation teams, project managers and customers
Responsibilities of a Lift Tester:
Ensure all installations comply with current legislation, British Standards and company quality procedures
Diagnose and resolve technical faults during the commissioning process
Complete commissioning documentation, testing records and certification accurately
Support installation teams with technical guidance to ensure projects are delivered safely and on schedule
Maintain excellent customer service and the highest standards of health and safety throughout the commissioning process
