Basic Salary: Up to £80,000, depending on experience and willingness to travel.

Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lift Technician / Technical Support Engineer to join an established lift and escalator company based in Birmingham.
Working directly for the Service Director within the service department, the successful candidate will provide high-level technical support to lift engineers, diagnose complex faults and help ensure difficult technical issues are resolved safely and efficiently.
This is a senior technical position offering a salary of up to £80,000, with either a car allowance or company vehicle. The overall package will depend on the successful candidate's experience, technical capabilities and willingness to travel.

Commutable from: Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, West Bromwich, Solihull, Coventry, Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth, Lichfield, Redditch, Bromsgrove and surrounding areas.

The Lift Technician Role

Work directly with the Service Director as part of the service department.
Provide technical support and guidance to lift service engineers.
Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical and control-system faults.
Attend sites to investigate and resolve challenging technical issues.
Support engineers with breakdowns, recurring faults and difficult repairs.
Assist with the testing, adjustment and commissioning of lift equipment.
Recommend appropriate repairs, replacement components and technical solutions.
Help improve lift reliability, performance and safety.
Provide practical technical guidance and share knowledge with engineering teams.
Produce accurate technical reports and maintain clear service documentation.
Liaise professionally with customers, site contacts, engineers and senior management.
Ensure all work complies with relevant lift regulations and health and safety requirements.
Travel to customer sites as required.

Ideal Lift Technician Candidate

Strong background in lift servicing, fault-finding, repairs or technical support.
NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
Advanced mechanical, electrical and control-system fault-finding skills.
Able to diagnose and resolve complex or recurring lift faults.
Experience supporting and advising other lift engineers.
Strong knowledge of lift regulations and health and safety requirements.
Confident communicating with engineers, customers and senior management.
Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
Full UK driving licence & willingness to travel when required.
