Lift Service/Repair Engineer – London
Location: London (within 1 hour of Central London)
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + overtime & callout payments
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking an experienced Lift Service/Repair Engineer to join a well-established independent company. You will carry out servicing, repairs, fault-finding, and callouts across Central London (approx. 90% of work).
Key Responsibilities:
*
Service, maintain, and repair lifts
*
Attend emergency callouts on a rota (1 week in 3, Mon 5pm–Mon 8am)
*
Fault-finding and ensure lifts meet high standards
*
Team-based servicing, including occasional Saturdays

£220 standby allowance per callout week

£70/£90 callout rates
*
Overtime 1.33x weekdays / 1.5x weekends & Bank Holidays
*
25 days holiday + Bank Holidays

Requirements:
*
NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
*
7+ years’ lift servicing experience
*
Strong fault-finding skills & proactive approach
*
Excellent communication and teamwork
*
Full clean UK driving licence
Hours: Monday–Friday 8am–5pm + 1 in 3 callout rota
